Wait a damn second..

At 0:34, Girlfriend says "Oh, you got some new tracks to show me? Can I hear em?"

This could mean 2 things:

Either Boyfriend collects the tracks and Girlfriend adds them to her boombox, or--
Boyfriend *MAKES THE TRACKS*, and Girlfriend adds them to her boombox.
A way the second theory could be proven is the reasoning of "how does Boyfriend instantly know what to sing?" but this could be instantly disproved because how does his opponent instantly know what to sing? But that brings up another completely different theory that I won't solve.

This could also add another VERY UNLIKELY theory, that the reason some of the erect remixes of the songs in the update are missing, because Girlfriend rejected them because they were too boring or bad.
This is disproved in 2 ways:
Most likely they don't have all the erect remixes because it's a prototype update and it isn't ALL finished.
Girlfriend is probably too stupid to reject anything Boyfriend does.

When it released, they had everything shown in that trailer. Erect mode, new features, cutscenes, new characters, everything. Everything that was on that trailer was released. It was even released on Pico Day, too.

Except it came out 2 years late.
